For those that know who I am, welcome to my official website! For those that don’t know, my name is Christopher Lyke and I am the founder and original owner of TexasHSFootball.com. I ran the Texas HS Football site from 2001 until 2014. Overall, I have a quarter century of experience in sports journalism and currently serve as an advisor for the FloridaHSFootball.com site. I am also doing my own work as a sports historian and have several projects in the works including one that I am in the process of releasing to the public. Most of the research and background information on my sports related projects can be and will be published on my Patreon page.

So, what will you find here in the near future and coming days, months and years? Quite simply everything and anything that I have on my mind whether it is sports related, news worthy, or something that has to do with some of my projects and research. I will also share my thoughts and give some of my insights into the stock market and crypto currency.

Another thing that you will find out about me is that I am a huge travel enthusiast. I love love exploring the world and have traveled through a majority of the United States. Back in 2014, I was fortunate enough to travel to the Australian city of Melbourne.  To date, I still maintain some key friendships from my time in Australia and have some close friendships with a few in Colombia, Canada, Indonesia, Germany, the Czech Republic and England.

One other thing that I will be doing on here, is creating a podcast, which will also be found on my Patreon page as well as on YouTube. The podcast will be making its debut on December 21. In regards to the content on my Patreon page, I will be posting thing there at least twice a week with the aim of every Tuesday and Friday for a scheduled posting. The first scheduled post in the current set up will be on Tuesday December 14 detailing my extensive work on a basketball history related project that I have been researching for at least four or five months. Some of those details will also be published on this site.
